Broomfield House N13

Broomfield House Palmers Green

Welcome to The Broomfield House Palmers Green homepage on

Thank-you for visiting the Broomfield House page on - although we are an N21 based website, we do not restrict ourselves to N21 - see our "About" page to understand why.

Quite simply we love Broomfield Park, as it is one of the most diverse and beautiful parks in Enfield, and Broomfield House is a part of that heritage. We want to assist in helping the people that care about the Park and the House to get the best from all the options available to see the House restored.

As many people know, the saga of Broomfield House has been ongoing since a fire destroyed the structure in 1984.

You may be new to the area and perhaps don't know much about Broomfield House or it's history, or you may be a hardened campaigner that is weary of yet another proposal.

Whichever of these you are, you may be asking yourself questions...

Why is Broomfield House worth restoring ?

What has happened since the building was first burnt down in 1984?

Who really cares about Broomfield House?

Why not demolish the building and build a Café?

What do you think ? Why not email us with your views , or comment on the latest position ?

The image above shows the 2010 Architects model of the re-vamped Broomfield House. Note that the previous mock tudor front to the house that was put on in the 1920's will not be restored. A mock Georgian front was proposed to be restored as per the model.
