Title:
Public Meeting on Network Rail replanting of Grange Park Embankments
When:
01.12.2011 20.00 h - 22.00 h

Description

PUBLIC MEETING ON NETWORK RAIL REPLANTING OF GRANGE PARK TREES

David Burrowes MP has arranged a follow-up public meeting with Network Rail senior representatives on Thursday 1st December from 8pm-10pm at The Church in the Orchard (Grange Park Methodist Church).

Come and have your say about the replanting work that is taking place near to Grange Park Station.

A train passes through the Grange Park armageddon ....

David Burrowes said: “I am very pleased to arrange and chair a second public meeting with Network Rail to discuss this important issue.

The last meeting was packed with residents complaining about the way Network Rail ignored the local community.

This next meeting will allow the community to see whether lessons have been learned by Network Rail.

I have been liaising with Network Rail Chief Executive, David Higgins, to ensure that his representatives will be able to clarify what future replanting works will be taking place on the Grange Park and Winchmore Hill embankments, and provide future reassurances about the future.”
