What is amazing about an event like this is that everyone has a part to play and without each small (or sometimes large) part that each person plays which then engages with someone else and causes a knock-on effect that would not have happenend otherwise.... well thats when sometimes things just come together and make it all worthwhile .. if you enjoy the event, please let people know ...

Having lived in Winchmore Hill since the age of 2, I am passionate about bringing this community together at the N21 Festival. I am proud to have been involved from the very start at all the events.
I have the benefit of having produced corporate (from BMW-Vodafone) and private events professionally for over 20 years so to be able to bring that expertise to the community is very fulfilling.
As well as continuing my work as an event producer, I manage operations at BAM Creative Ltd, a locally based design agency with my partner Ben Craster.

This is my first festival and I came on board in October. I didn’t realise the amount of work put in by everybody to make this festival happen. However I’ve really enjoyed being involved in such a fantastic event. I retired fully in February from sales in the footwear trade although have been semi-retired for the past four years. I’ve lived in Winchmore Hill for most of the last 36 years with a brief spell in Hampshire. I was a Games Maker in the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics which has led to more volunteering opportunities and will shortly be a ‘runner’ in the World Athletic Championships in August.

As I was brought up in Winchmore Hill and have many links with the area, I jumped at the chance to help with organising the N21 Festival. It has been a wonderful experience to be so involved with the local community and to have met so many interesting and committed people. I have enjoyed every minute and I am sure there will be a huge anti-climax when all the fun is over! In my spare time (!) I work part-time for a bank in the City and also am on call 24/7 for granny duties!
